Wellbeing Works promotes better wellbeing for those who face mental health challenges: building confidence, learning new skills, connecting with others and having a positive impact on our community.
Wellbeing Works is the new brand for what was Dundee Association for Mental Health, and has been providing support and services for the people of Dundee for more than 50 years.
Meet others and make friends through attending shared interest groups and social activities.
Join the walking group for a gentle walk and talk session, or for the more adventurous walkers, we have a rambling group. We also have a range of other projects to get you out and about, including gardening and growing projects like our allotment on the Law.
Learn about mindfulness and relaxation, or get involved in activities where you can find out more about your surrounding area. By focusing on the present moment, we can alleviate negative thinking patterns and maintain a level of calmness, which is good for our mental health and wellbeing.
Learn to play the ukelele or guitar, how to talk Italian, or how to knit teddy bears in our craft group! We also provide Peer Volunteer Training as well as some recognised qualifications.
Peer volunteering opportunities where people with lived experience can use their experience to support others. Get involved in improving our environment or community, or help us to raise awareness of mental health issues.
Connecting and facilitating conservation work within green spaces throughout Dundee and the surrounding areas.
